Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 3-year-old neutered male Corgi/German Shepherd mix. I weigh about 25 pounds.
I bet I am one of the cutest dogs you've ever seen before - if not the absolute cutest! I have the face and the markings of a German Shepherd, but a low-rider body just like a Corgi. I'm a pretty unique combination!
I have a really great personality to complement my adorable looks. I'm sweet, gentle, loving and always happy! I really enjoy human affection. Especially belly rubs!
Someone found me wandering the streets of a not-so-nice part of LA and took me to a local high-kill shelter. I was covered in fleas, but other than that, I was in good shape. The staff put me on a mandatory 4-day stray hold and crossed their fingers that my owners would claim me. They never came.
I can't say that I was super disappointed about it though. I quickly made friends with all of the staff and volunteers at the shelter. I made such a positive impression on everyone that I was sent to be neutered prior to adoption. That's not unheard of, but it is reserved for only the most special dogs. The ones that they know will be adopted because of their winning personality. If that doesn't tell you how great of a dog I am, I don't know what else I can say.
The day after my neuter surgery I got the best news ever! I was going to go stay at CageFree while I waited for my future forever home. I was really excited! The volunteers at the shelter told me that I would spend my days hanging out with all my friends - canines and humans! Yippee!
Now that I have settled in here, my human companions have had a chance to determine what type of home would best suit me. Ideally, I would like a family that will shower me with attention. I looove to be petted!! I'm a total snuggle-bug and I enjoy giving kisses, too! If you're not paying attention to me, I'll nudge my nose under your arm to get you to notice me. And let me reiterate, I really enjoy belly rubs!!
What do you think? Would I make a great addition to your family? If you adopt me, I promise you won't be disappointed! So hurry up and contact CageFree to schedule a time to meet me!
