Meet Barney a 2 year old, 21 pound male Corgi mix.

Barney was abandoned at a local vet clinic, after several month's without being claimed, he found his way to Parker Paws.
Barney is a sweet, playful dog who loves attention and being outside. He is very good with people of all ages and adores children, he enjoys other dogs. He is curious about cats and chickens, but pretty much leaves them alone.. . Barney is crate trained, but prefers to sleep on the couch. He is working on his house training and basic commands. He has lived in a kennel for at least the past 7 months, so asking to go outside is fairly new to him. He is learning things quickly and wants to please. Barney does have a slight limp which has been examined by the veternarian. They believe he may have broke it sometime as a puppy and it did not set correctly. He has learned to compensate for it and doesn't let it keep him from running and playing.

Barney is neutered, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea protection, current on all age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped..

Barney is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard with plenty of room to play. He would love to have some children and other dogs to keep him busy.

Barney’s adoption fee is only $75.
