Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty is one great dog! He's a one year old cute Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that arrived from another facility. He's a happy and playful boy that's looking for an active family to call his own. Stop by and spend some time with this easy going guy when he returns from his training and see if he's the dog you're looking for. Rusty's history is not known but he's as sweet as they come.
On December 16, 2014, Rusty was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.
If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. RUSTY HAS MET HIS LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF ADOPTION APPLICATIONS FRIENDSHIP IS TAKING ON HIM.
