My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winky had a very hard life before she was rescued, but that hasn’t dampened her spirit. She is an extremely happy and loving dog. She’s not particularly playful, but she follows her foster parents wherever they go, always preferring to be by their side. The biggest fusses she makes are when she’s whining to get up next to you on the couch to snuggle (sometimes she fails to make the jump) or when she decides that it’s dinner time. Overall, Winky would be happiest in a home that is looking for a people companion. She isn’t going to be impressing your friends with all the tricks she knows, and she would not make for a good jogging partner, but Winky will be a wonderful addition to a family that is mostly looking for a loving companion who is happy to follow you around the house all day as you move about or sleep next to you for hours on the couch as you veg out.
Winky had some health issues when she was first rescued, but these have largely been cleared up, though she sometimes gets yeast infections in her ears. She is currently living with her foster parents in Bloomington, IN. Please call 812-371-6197 or 765-969-0630 for more information.
