Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES LAURA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
Laura was a death row dog due to her health being so poor from being severely neglected by her owners, but as you can see in the video when she came in 2+months ago, she was a mess, she was covered in demodex (non contagious) mange, we have her well on the mend. She is recovering well, her fur is growing in nicely all over her body.
It will take months for a full rich thick coat to fill in, however she is more than able to be placed with a loving family who will continue to feed her a healthy diet. she is currently off all meds, is a portly 91lbs. and is healthy as an Ox. She is only around 2 years of age.
We do not know what Miss Goofy girl is mixed with, we can only guess and think she may be German Shepherd and Hound because when she does bark, it's more like a steamship sounding off. don't let that deter you though, this girl is hilarious, she's a loving and sweet and kitty friendly girl, gets along well with other dogs and loves loves loves people both young and old.
Laura is a great and loving companion and will be the best dog ever. Once that coat is filled in and full she will be just stunning. If you would like to adopt Laura, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting the application below and filling out.
