Evangeline takes her namesake very seriously. She leads a poetic lifestyle full of drama and endless longing for more cat food! This black and white beauty is waiting to be spoiled by a calm and patient family. Evangeline isn’t interested in playtime with other kitties, and would like to be the only cat in her home. She is also interested in discussing the more intellectual topics (such as 19th century poetry, of course) and would do best in a home without young children. She is waiting for the purrfect family to help her turn from damsel in distress to heroine of her abode!

The cat adoption fee is $100 and benefits the rescued pets of Red Door Animal Shelter. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and given the rabies and distemper vaccines.
