Wonka is a very special boy. He was dropped off in our overnight run back in October with extremely long nails and a growly attitude to match. But with his “Don King” hairdo, staff wasn’t too afraid of him. For being so small, he has a very large – dominate attitude. If he doesn’t want to do something, he will get quite mouthy with you. That being said, he will also be very loud and growing when he is playing with toys and will growl and nudge you with toys until you play with him. He loves to play fetch. We are guessing he is a mix of Yorkie and Chihuahua. He is 2-4 years old. Because of his “Napoleon Complex”, he can’t go to a home with children under 13 years old. He is like a cat, in that, he will cuddle with you but it’s completely on his terms. He wasn’t neutered when he was dropped off so he has a lot of territorial marking that he does. Wonka definitely needs to have an owner who has had plenty of small male dog experience.
