All About Me: Prancer was rescued from a local shelter with all 8 of her brothers and sisters. The mother of the puppies is a Min Pin but we are not sure about the father. He may of been a Beagle or Jack Russell mix. These puppies will be MEDIUM sized adult dogs. They are not housetrained because they are babies and they will require a family that has the time to devote to their training.

All known information about our dogs is listed under notes. We do not know how big a puppy will grow to be in adulthood. Please research the particular breed to see if this pet may be a good choice as a new member of your family.

Your first step in adopting a new family member is to fill out the free online adoption application. The adoption form must be filled out completely with phone numbers and a vet reference before it will be processed. Your application will not be processed without this information.

We sometimes receive many applications on one dog. Our goal is to place the dog in the best home possible based on his/her needs, personality and past history. Please note that adoptions are NOT done on a first come, first serve basis, and filling out an application does not guarantee the adoption of any dog. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for inaccurate or false information. We are looking for the best possible home for this animal. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prancer, a Old Fort Miniature Pinscher/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Beagle for sale in Old Fort, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Old Fort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Fort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Fort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Beagle breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Fort paves the way for another one to be saved.
