A067345's Story...
Duplicate Listing - A067345 6 month old black male Pointer/Border Collie mix - He is currently located at the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter and has been attending adoption events with Heart of America Humane Society at Ward Parkway Petsmart for the last few weeks. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when you can meet him at (816) 969-1640 and they are located at 1991 SE Hamblen Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64082. This sweet boy weighs 44 pounds and he definitely wants to get your attention. He does tend to pull on the leash when walking so he could benefit from wearing a harness. He was great with all the dogs he met at the adoption events. He will sit for treats and also learned how to go down for treats which also shows how smart he is. He is very treat motivated so he should be easily trained. He definitely has some puppy left in him but very trainable and wanted just to please you. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when and where you can meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A067345, a Overland Park Pointer/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pointer/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Border Collie breeders who help with Pointer/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
