Meet Lenny! This handsome guy's gentle disposition will melt your heart. Lenny was originally surrendered to the shelter with another dog because their owner could not take them to the new residence. Zoey, Lenny's house mate, was adopted, leaving Lenny alone for the first time. Fortunately, this sweet guy was able to go into foster care where he has slowly, but surely, come out of his shell! This laid back guy loves to chew on stuff animals (preferably with hands and tails ideal for chewing off!), leisurely walks around the neighborhood, and watching TV on the couch with his people. Lenny is already housebroken and kennel-trained and ready to learn more for his forever home!

At around 5 years, Lenny is a 50 pound couch potato. He would be ideal for a quiet household that will help him learn what it's like to be a member of the family. Looking for an apartment dog? Lenny is your man! Given daily walks, he is happy to just hang out. He is weary of some household objects (fans are pretty scary!) and took a little while to feel comfortable with his people, but with a patient family Lenny will grow into the perfect companion!

Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical examination by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
