Lila - adoption pending's Story...
Lila is approx 3.5 months old as of 12/15/14 and weighs 12 lbs. She looks like yellow lab mix. One of her sisters has blue eyes like a husky mix, so we are not sure. She has really beautiful coloring she is going to be a medium size dog probably in the 30-40 lb range when fully grown. She was one of 3 stray pups abandoned in a pretty bad part of the city. She has the softest coat and the nicest disposition, a really loving and active puppy. She loves to run and play with her two sisters and is pretty smart. She is catching onto house training pretty quickly. She will need some leash/harness training. She is a pretty typical puppy, run, play with toys and buddies, eat and sleep.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lila - adoption pending, a Norwalk Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
