My name is Jack! I am a 6 year old approximately Chihuahua mixed with possible Pug! I am quite the little happy zipper! I am friendly with everyone I meet and get along well with cats and dogs in foster care
I am a Chihuahua first though so remember that I like to be attached to people, I will run the household and can be finicky with my food. I dislike the cold and would rather make snuggle bums under the covers hoarding all the toys in the house on my doggie bed!
I love to run and have energy to burn! I have no prey drive so that is a good thing but I can be vocal. I will protect those that I love to the ends of the earth and back again – when you look up the word Loyal you will find a picture of me!
I am a small doggie for big doggie lovers!
I spent weeks as a stray on the streets of Quebec, no one knows or understands why it is that no one is looking for me! Maybe something happened to the one person I loved very much, maybe that person’s family decided it was easier to abandon me by the side of a road and hope that I could fend for myself … or maybe they were hoping I would get lost in the woods and starve to death. I am a Big Mini Boy at 14 lbs and just a happy go lucky care free guy who is clean in the home and I do know most of my basic commands.
I would be looking for a home that has a back yard for me to zip around in! I am not ideal for apartment life because I do suffer from mild anxiety and will cry when you leave. A home that is active and likes to go for walks; I am a perfect gentleman on the leash! No young children please as the Chihuahua in me can make for a perfect storm, I might unintentionally nip little fingers that are not respectful and find themselves in places I do not like!
If you have other dogs and cats well that is fine with me! In my foster home my best buddies are a Cane Corso Mix and a Pit Bull! I am respectful of them and they are of me.
