Mouse's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Mouse's Story...
Mouse is a 6 year old Alaskan Husky athlete. She is currently running team position on a 6 dog team. However, her running mate has had an unexpected early retirement. Mouse is very choosy of her canine companions and as a result of her running mates unexpected retirement, she finds herself without a buddy to enjoy her favorite pastime with. Mouse has no food aggression and sits patiently for her dinner. Although she is an active athlete, Mouse really enjoys her couch time too! She would do well as a companion for an active individual or family. Mouse does very well in-crate and has a very affectionate, quiet temperament -- a great girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mouse, a Peterborough Siberian Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Peterborough, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Peterborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peterborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peterborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peterborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
