Dakota and her littermates were brought to Animatch so that we could find them furever homes. Puppies are all active and a Husky crossed with Border Collie is an EXTREMELY active puppy. Both are breeds that require a huge amount of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Boredom is not an option! Dakota is not the dog that can just be on the back burner ... she needs a constant presence in her life. She’s a puppy! If you bring her into your family, you must have every intention of keeping Dakota for her entire life. Obedience classes would be recommended for this bright little dog. If you want a well adjusted, well mannered dog you need to invest the time into obedience training. Dakota’s passion seems to be her tennis ball; second to tennis balls, she adores her Foster Brother who happens to be a very playful Pug. Of course, she will need work on house training. A home where she is not alone more than a few hours is a must. Not only for toilet training reasons is it a requirement, but puppies need constant socialization, supervision, and training throughout the day. Dakota would do better with a guardian who has some experience with an energetic breed. If you are looking to make a difference in a young puppy’s life, please do consider adopting Dakota. Just fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Dakota.

Please no phone calls.
