Eska is a 2-month-old, female, Husky x Border Collie; Animatch was asked to find Eska and her littermates responsible, committed homes. On a scale of 1 to 10, Eska scores a 10 in the cuteness factor. Eska is bright, clever, athletic and aware of everything that is going on around her. She is going to require LOTS of time and attention from her new guardian. According to her Foster Mom, Eska has a keen interest in extension cords – she especially likes the one connected to the Christmas tree. Both Huskies and Border Collies are breeds that require experienced guardians. Too little exercise, too little companionship and too little mental stimulation will lead to boredom for a dog like Eska. In no time, she will be ready for puppy classes and would certainly benefit from basic obedience training. Eska’s would without doubt enjoy and excel at agility and it would give her a great outlet for her boundless energy. Animatch is looking for a home where Eska would not be alone more than a few hours a day – puppies need constant attention, training, and socialization throughout the day. She needs more than a bowl of food, water, and a backyard. A home that has experience with high energy breeds would be ideal.
