Are you looking for a great best friend?
My name is Davey and I am a 5 year old, chocolate and white cocker boy. I was picked up as a stray by animal control. When no owner showed up to claim me, I tested as heartworm positive, so the shelter treated me. I got adopted out to a family, but they returned me because I am a very active cocker and I was to much for them. I was sad that it didn't work out, but then I got adopted out to another nice family. I was going to be a companion for their Mom. The family loved me and I got along great with the daughter's dogs. But, I was a bit too active for the mother to handle. The daughter and her husband kept me with their dogs and really wanted to keep me, but just had too many.......so I came to rescue.
I am heartworm negative, neutered, micro-chipped, dog and people social and a very active, busy cocker boy with a wonderful, very friendly disposition. I seem to be house trained, I love toys and I enjoy love and attention. Spending quality time with you would be great. I will do well with someone who can take me for daily walks or maybe I can be your jogging partner. I would love to have a secure, fenced backyard where I can run and play with you on a nice day. If you already have another dog who is dog social and would enjoy a playful pal, a wonderful, very friendly house buddy, and a great friend, I might just be the dog for you! I will be a great addition to an active family.........I would love to be your baby boy!
No apartments or condos for Davey, as he will do best in a loving home with a backyard. He needs room to romp and play. He is a real sweet cocker boy who just needs someone to love him, spend quality time with him and help him to live a great active life.
