Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Piper
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 1 1/2 years
WEIGHT: About 9 pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Unsure on cats
CHILDREN: Great with children
We would like to introduce you to beautiful Piper. Piper was found running as a stray and a good Samaritan rescued her, hoping to reunite her with her family. When her family could not be found, CRT agreed to bring Piper into our program and help her find a forever home.
We are so happy to have this little girl with us. She is an absolute doll! Piper is really good at adapting. She recently switched foster homes and did so well adjusting to a different environment and routing. She is super smart, sweet and playful. She gets along well with other dogs and likes to play with the other current doggie friends in her foster home. Piper loves to follow her foster Mom around the house, but you'll also find her hanging around with the other dogs at home. And she definitely loves to be close to her humans getting snuggle time and lots of back scratches!
Piper is potty trained. She knows how to use a doggie door and will use it to go outside to potty. She also loves just to be outside to watch squirrels and lay in the sun. Piper is also a little jumper. When she goes for walks, she'll jump up onto the stacked brick paths along the sidewalks and then jump down when it ends. It is really fun to watch.
Piper is not a big barker unless she gets excited about something. She can be a little shy when first meeting men, but warms up to them quickly. Piper loves children, and would be perfect for a family. At 9 pounds, she is a perfect size.

Piper is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
