Faith's Story...
Please meet Hope. Hope was rescued before she was ever born. Her mom, Faith, was at the shelter in Ripley, Tennessee when one of our sweet fosters spotted her. Faith was a fully pregnant black lab and in grave danger in the shelter. The next day we loaded up and drove the 2 hours to Ripley and brought Faith home, where she was treated like a queen while we waited out the end of her pregnancy.

Faith gave birth to 9 puppies - Hope is a lot like her momma. She is everyone's momma...checking on her siblings, if anyone is crying and out of the pack, she checks on them. She has the heart and soul of a nurturing girl. Her adoption fee is $425 and will include her vaccinations, microchipping, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to you. Please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application and more information!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
