Meet Abby! Abby is a gorgeous little dachshund/schnauzer mix, although she looks mostly like a wire haired doxie, except she has slightly longer legs. Abby is 11 pounds and just 6 years old and in need of a forever home. She is a GREAT little dog, however she has become overly protective over her owner's twin girls who are now 19 months old. She is dearly loved by her owners so please do not judge them, but Abby's protectiveness is to the point that they cannot have other children in their home even for play-dates, as Abby will go after anyone who goes near 'her' babies - even their toys! She is a bit shy and skittish with strangers but warms up quickly. This aggressive side only applies to the twins. Abby loves other dogs and ignores cats. She is fully vetted, spayed and completely housetrained. She needs to go to a home without small children as little kids (other than her 'own') make her nervous. She is currently in Falling Waters, WV, but transport can be arranged within reason.
