Do you want to start 2015 by having a furry friend to share the New Year with? Then you have hit the jackpot if you consider this little boy named Teddy. Teddy is 1 ½ years old and weighs only 10 pounds. He has a beautifully groomed “lamb cut” showing off his thick, healthy brown coat. He is a loving little boy, extremely affectionate, with a quiet temperament. His heartbroken owner had to surrender him due to an out of state job transfer that wouldn’t enable her to take Teddy with her.
Teddy is an energetic little boy with a bounce to his step. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially his long daily walks, loves car rides and is curious to all his surroundings. Teddy currently lives with three foster sisters, and has had many play dates with other dogs, so he is well socialized with other small dogs.
Teddy would be very happy in a home with another small dog for companionship and with a family who enjoys the outdoors and will include him in their activities. Older, respectful children would be okay and he would really be happy if someone was home most of the day. Teddy’s foster mom would like his new family to live in the Twin Cities area so she can visit him once in a while. She also would like Teddy’s new family to attend our Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion which is held each year on the third weekend in June.
Teddy is healthy, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $370.00 plus sales tax.
