My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ferdinand! The little spots of white on this guy's chest and back toes make his lineage questionable, but there is no denying that his personality is ALL Lab. Ferdy gets along with just about every human being, dog, even cat he meets! His happy-go-lucky personality was never affected, despite being abandoned at a work site at a mere 3-4 weeks old. When Ferdy first came into the shelter, he had little spots of hair loss all over his body from a fungal infection. Now that he has undergone treatment, he is growing back his patches and ready for his new family! Ferdy loves rough housing with dogs 3-5 times his size, attempting to play with cats (but then deciding a safe distance from them may be better), and cuddling with his people for just about two seconds before he wants to play again. This guy is extremely intelligent and will pick up on training quickly. All he really wants to do is be in the presence of his people!

At around 10 weeks, this guy will probably be 50-60lbs once full grown. He will make the ultimate family dog. Although he does enjoy some sun, Ferdy loves being inside with the humans and is not afraid to bark at the door until you comply, so an inside home would be best! Siblings, two- and four-legged alike, would be ideal for this little pup who always has energy to spare. All Ferdy really wants is a family to finally call his own! Will you be that family?

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.

Ferdinand is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
