Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clarice Noel is a 6 year old Silky Terrier who was rescued from a puppy mill; she weighs about 9 pounds. She is a super sweet dog who enjoys being held and loved. She is timid with strangers but after being held a few minutes she relaxes. Her little nubbin of a tail can wag a mile a minute. Despite having no teeth Clarice is enthusiastic about eating small dry kibble. Upon coming to rescue her teeth were infected and in such poor condition that they were removed. This has left her with a soft and unstable jaw; because of this Clarice needs to be handled and played with gently. Clarice potties in a pen outside and is learning to use an indoor potty patch. Leash training is in process.
Clarice would love to find a quiet adult only home where she can be a diva princess. She has had limited but positive interaction with a cat in her foster home. Clarice has been fostered with other toy dogs but play has been monitored.
Suggested adoption donation is $250 which goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
