My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jewels is an old soul and a true gem, hence her name. She is a mild mannered, gentle, loving, sweet gal. All that meet her are struck by her wonderful demeanor. Then you learn that either she had been wondering the streets for a long time or someone had her and didn't take care of her. Her ears were in horrific condition when we rescued her. They very painful to our sweet girl! Even more sad is the fact that her ears were quite easily treated and they responded quickly to treatment. If you look at her photos you can see that her ears are a bit off. I'm happy to say that she can hear and the chronic infection has successfully been treated and she is feeling a world better.

Now that she is healthy, we are seeking a wonderful, loving home for our precious gal. She is an excellent walker but also can easily swtich to running with you too. She gets along well with other dogs but does not have to have a canine friend in her permanent home. Jewels rides well in the car and does well just hanging out with you at the local cafe while you catch up with friends.

As you can see Jewels is a well rounded gal with a great personality and no negatives that we can see other then the fact that she doesn't have a family to call her own.
