My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE:
UPDATE: Waiting for his forever home.

Meet Oliver, a stunning and handsome 41 pound, 1 year old male Bassett Hound mix. He's the long little doggie you've been looking for.

Oliver was rescued from a local animal shelter to help them make room for more displaced animals. He was adopted a few month's ago, and unfortunately it wasn't the perfect match he was looking for.

Typical of this breed, you'll find him sniffing around to check out his surroundings and see if he can rustle up a snack or two. He loves to play wrestle with his doggie companions, run, play and take a dip in the swimming pool. His absolute favorite activites are getting in some snuggle time with his favorite humans and belly rubs by anyone willing to give them. This playful, energetic boy loves the great outdoors and would make a good walking or hiking buddy. He is ready and willing to learn anything you want to teach him.

Oliver is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. Other doggie companions or an active family is very high on his wish list. Due to his activity level, he may be better suited for older children. Oliver is currently working on his dinning manners as he is a little possessive of his food. Hound dogs love their chow.

Oliver is neutered, microchipped, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative and is on heartworm and flea prevention.

Oliver's adoption fee is only $75.
Donations help us to keep our adoption fees low and allows us to help more animals in need.
