My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barney is an active, healthy, 6-year old border collie/lab mix. He is mostly black with beautiful white markings and a smooth, easy-to-care-for coat. He weighs about 60 lbs. Barney is sweet and friendly and would make an excellent family pet. Barney is very well-behaved and knows all the basic commands, although he is definitely smart enough to learn more. He loves to go on car rides and for long walks. His absolute favorite thing is to run on a trail off-leash and he knows never to wander too far.



Barney is great with kids and okay with most other dogs but he does like to chase squirrels and rabbits so sharing a house with a cat might not be a good idea. He has been a much-loved member of a family for most of his life but his owner is now entering an assisted living facility that does not allow large dogs.
