WILL YOU TAKE ME HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS?
Hi! My name is Rosie and I'd like nothing more than to be part of your family and enjoy my first holiday with you! I am a three year old Chiweenie (that's Chihuahua and Dachshund, don't you know?). I am great with adults, dogs, and cats, but so far have not warmed up to children. I am a whopping 15 pounds of joy. I may seem a little shy at first, but will quickly follow you wherever you go.
I am a loving and mellow girl most of the time, except when you throw my toys for me. Then I become "Rosie the Acrobat" and fly through the air, displaying my abilities to leap and bound. My next favorite activity is going for walks. I do very well on leash and am the best sniffer you've ever seen. After that I like car rides, and am adept at calling "shotgun". But truly, my favorite thing of all is being with my human(s), whether curled up on their lap, playing with toys, walking, or riding in the car. As long as it is with my human(s) I am happy.
I am very smart and respond well to voice commands, on and off leash. I am house trained and will bark to alert you to let me outside, in case you aren't paying attention, although I can take care of myself with a doggie door. I will also bark to let you know when someone is nearby.
My foster mom can attest to all of my claims above, and can probably add some compliments that I am too modest to mention. I am spayed, current on my vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm. Rosie is currently being fostered in Sacramento. There is a $125.00 tax deductible adoption fee to help cover her medical expenses as well as those of the many other dogs the rescue has taken in.
