My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

12/16/14: Peppermint is a healthy 1 yr old male boxer and has been with the program for about 3 weeks. He's sweet, loving, and playful. He gets along with all dogs, and enjoys playing with them along with various toys. Although he likes to be active, he is not hyper and is actually mature for his age. Peppermint walks great on a leach, loves rides in the car, and is very smart. He isn't interested in getting on the furniture, is housebroke and lets you know when he needs to go outside. He is also crate trained and routinely gets in his crate on his own when its time.

As many white boxers, Peppermint is deaf. However, you wouldn't hardly be able to tell if he's with other dogs. He became acclimated to the foster home very quickly and just follows the other's lead. Thus, he may be better suited in a home with another dog. In addition, he already knows some hand signals so he's very eager to please. One advantage of a deaf dog is he isn't much of a barker. However, he is overflowing with love and affection and is very appreciative when he receives it.
