My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we hear the name Billy Bob; a tall, large, handsome gentlemen usually comes to mind.

This particular Billy Bob is neither large nor tall, but is certainly handsome. Billy Bob is a middle aged rescue mix who is 40ish lbs of love. He came from SayulitAnimals after living on the streets for God knows how long; the fact that he is always smiling amazes us. Missing teeth means that Billy Bob's tongue lolls out every once in a while.
We can't imagine that smiling would be on his list of things to do, but Billy Bob clearly has a more forgiving heart than most.

Billy Bob 'ain't" got no time for any of that negativity! He has people to love! Tennille, his foster momma says that he is downright perfect. A patient fellow, Billy Bob is content to snooze surrounded by pillows and blankies while waiting for his people. He is housebroken and will even wait patiently to be let out. Tenille really thinks that Billy Bob needs a fenced yard as he always wants to be outside. She says he isn't macho at all. He is just sweet and calm.

He has been wonderful with all dogs and cats he has met. Basically, Billy Bob is perfect and will do great with just about any family who is looking for a middle-aged, middle-sized happy dog. It doesn't get much better than this!

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
