Cellie's Story...
Cellie came in as a stray with her brother. They are both about 14-15 weeks old now. The poor girl came in blind in one eye, and we have been working with an eye specialist with her. She had an old puncture wound to her right eye, and because she was on the street no one cared, and she lost vision in it.

We are currently trying eye medication to see if it could help her get her sight back. If not she will likely need to get the eye removed when she gets her spay, so she does not get glaucoma.

Cellie is the sweetest girl! She is nearly completely potty trained, and is playing very well with her fosters smaller dog. She will need a family who feels up to taking care of her, as well as being able to continue her eye care. She would do well with someone who has breed experience, a secured yard, and a flexible schedule, as she will need time, attention, and training, as all babies do.

She would do fine with kids, though because of her eye, we would prefer older kids, in the home, we would like to see her be the baby, and center of attention. Cellie is so cuddly, sweet, and smart.

Her adoption fee is $350 and includes her Spay, Rabies, Parvo Distemper Shots, along with her Microchip, and De Wormer.

Cellie is currently in foster care near Mansion WA, but can be brought to Seattle are for an approved adopter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cellie, a Kirkland Husky/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Australian Shepherd for sale in Kirkland, or seeking a Husky/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Kirkland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kirkland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kirkland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Husky/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kirkland paves the way for another one to be saved.
