Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hans-Australian Shepard male, 2-4 yr. (Dec. 2014)
Hans wondered into an elderly ladies rural home and never left. She could not find the owner so
called the Kill Shelter to come get Hans. The Rescue saw him at the Shelter and knew this kind gentleman is going to make a great companion. He's loyal, friendly and a joy to be around. Hans was not using one of his front legs when rescued. The Veterinary found he had a metal pin in place and looked like an addition surgery would help him. He's had the surgery and has recovered nicely, with about 75% use of that leg. It does not slow him down
much, sometimes he walks on it and other times just holds it limp. He will live a long, normal life with small limitations due to his leg.
His adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
