My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blackie is looking for a home. His caretaker has passed away. He was raised from a six week old kitten by the family. He was born late Oct 2006. He was loved and treated well, having plenty to eat, and access to a big yard filled with birds and chipmunks to chase. He likes being outdoors but also prefers to stay inside more during cold and inclement weather. He is virtually all black but some gray hairs are coming thru to show his age. He appreciates a brushing. He likes to be patted and scratched around his neck and ears but will sometimes show his thanks and affection by swatting or love-biting. You have to be wary of this or you will get scratched, bitten, and end up with a little blood showing.
He is not a finicky eater but is used to a canned food as well as dry. He likes a Fancy Feast assortment, but is not adverse to generic brands. He is approximately 12-13 lbs. He never had any major ailments or injuries. He was neutered as a young cat and has had annual check ups. He is up to date with his shots. He is very neat if a litter box is used inside. He has not had the company of any other animals. He is available after Dec 26th.
