Grandpa 8 MTHS OLD's Story...
New Lease on Life will be OPEN Monday through Wednesday 1pm to 7pm Christmas week. Christmas Day is by appt only. And open Friday and Saturday 1pm to 7pm. Come on out to adopt!

Don't be fooled by the name. "Grandpa" is actually only 8 months old and far too playful to have earned such a name.

Grandpa and his brother, Rascal, arrived together at the shelter when their family decided to move, and their new home wasn't pet friendly. They had gotten them from a pet store a few months earlier.

The brothers do NOT have to be adopted as a pair though. They actually prefer to be separate. At the shelter, each brother is actually living with a couple cats, and they much prefer the cats to the company of each other. The cats quite like the arrangement too.

You can meet Grandpa at the shelter during adoption hours, Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. The adoption fee for rabbits is $50.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grandpa 8 MTHS OLD, a Struthers Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Struthers, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Struthers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Struthers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Struthers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Struthers paves the way for another one to be saved.
