Hi guys, Happy Holidays! My name is Ralphie! As you can see, when I get into playtime… I literally get IN to it. I can be a little shy at introductions, but I would love for you to learn a little bit about me. Well, I am a young boy, just barely 6 months. My buddy Flick and I were recently brought into the shelter, because our last owners didn’t want us anymore. We were super duper scared. The holidays can be ruff as it is, but in a loud shelter? Goodness gracious – we just shook and shivered it was so scary. Then the nice folks at NBS Animal Rescue said they would be able to foster us, and promised us that there are people out there that don’t abandon animals – and would love their dog fur-ever! It sounds too good to be true – but I’ve been told that Christmas is a time for peace, joy and hope – so I am going to have all three.
I like to highlight on the “joy” part. My personality is shy – but very curious and kind of goofy. I’m not a barker (neither is my buddy Flick). We are acing our potty training course, and are happy to curl up and be quiet in a crate. However, I totally would prefer a warm lap with a soft blankie – but I’m not too picky. I am learning to play a WONDERFUL game, it is called… “fetch”, do you know it? I’m pretty good at it, so if you know how to play and need a partner?.... I’m totally adoptable. Just say’n. Also, I love to give kisses if you’ll let me. I’m also patient for car rides, and don’t pull on a leash. I’ve been really nice to other dogs, gentle kids and cats too. I’m a very good boy, and am dreaming of a home for the holidays.

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
