My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bridget is one special girl who was rescued in the nick of time from an area shelter. We believe her to be a 12 yr. old Golden/shepherd mix and she has the best qualities of both breeds-gentle, calm, sweet, loving and well mannered. Bridget is quite the joy to her foster mom who would love to keep her but her own dog, Joey, is a little jealous so Bridget is seeking her forever home for the holidays.
She is current on all vaccinations, wormed, spayed, micro-chipped and going through the slow heartworm treatment which is the safest for a senior girl and it will be funded by GREAT Rescue until she is heartworm free which should be sometime mid-2015. Bridget is available immediately to her new family who resides close to Jacksonville so she can continue her treatment at one of our affiliated Veterinary Hospitals.
