Eugene's Story...
Eugene is a tri-colored boy who was found as a stray in north Georgia. Eugene is absolutely wonderful. He is good with cats, all people, and other dogs. He's getting fattened up nicely since he was a little malnourished and skinny. He is great on a leash, loves his crate, and is potty trained with no accidents in the house. He scratches on the door when he needs outside. His favorite place is laying with his foster parents on the couch, or sometimes he gets to sleep in the bed too! He gives the best hugs, he leans in and puts his head on your shoulder. He is just a lazy, sweet hound, who is very easy going. Someone is going to be very lucky to have him! He is around 6 years old. In a canince companion, he would prefer a slow paced dog like himself, probably an older dog. He would be okay as an only dog too.

  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
