Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Edwardo is a Chihuahua/Greyhound mix. He weighs 6 lbs and is about 18 months old. Edwardo is an incredibly sweet boy. He is an absolute love-bug and needs a ton of attention and love. He loves to chew on raw hide bones, and snuggle under blankets! He gets along really well with other small dogs, and I will know better about big dogs soon. He is putting on weight well, and eats voraciously! He is not aggressive around food or toys, and will allow others to share his food or take his toys away. He loves to walk, although his neck is so thin that a harness is absolutely necessary on walks mostly because he pulls the whole walk! When he gets excited he has a hard time breathing (typical for many chihuahuas), but he recovers quickly. He is a very gentle soul, and needs to be handled with kid gloves and a lot of attention. He is not good with kids, they scare him when they approach and touch him. He would do well in an adult home with other small dogs and an owner that is either home a lot or can take him to work because he has severe separation anxiety, but having the other dogs around seems to help him with that (I watch on my alarm system cameras). Edwardo needs an experienced owner with patience as he is not good at being handled when you are trying to do something (looking in his mouth, trimming nails, etc.) He likes to sleep on a heated pad in his bed because he is prone to being cold.
