Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ALLIE is a female Maltese approximately 6 years in age. She has a soft white wavy coat. Allie has been professionally groomed and unfortunately had to have her beautiful coat shaved completely. She was without a doubt the most matted, neglected dog we have come across in a long time. Her coat was literally one solid mat. In a short amount of time, her lovely coat will grow back in all its glory, soft and long. Allies coat is non-shedding. She weighs in at a petite 6.5 pounds full grown. Allie is a shy, tender hearted sweetie. She is feminine, gentle, and seems quite innocent as to the ways of the world. She is looking for someone who wants to snuggle with her and keep her safe and secure. Allie gets animated around people she knows and will gently wag her tail in hello. She is very polite and non-demanding. She is good with other dogs and seems to enjoy the company of another doggie companion. She is good with cats, and good with older children who can be gentle with her. Allie loves soft doggie beds and cozy things, preferring to hang out inside with her people. She is learning how to walk on leash but definitely prefers a harness over a leash attached directly to her collar. She rides quietly in the car and tries hard to please her people. Allie is still learning about the world and would love to have a gentle, kind owner who she can give all her love and trust to. She promises to blossom into a lovely, devoted, loyal pet and companion. Allie was a stray when we rescued her. She is healthy and ready for her new future and forever home today!
