Ransom's Story...
Are you looking for a gentle, loving companion? Ransom is a very sweet boy who just wants to love you and be a part of your family. He is such an easy dog to add to your home. He just loves to be with his people. He likes to go with you for walks, and loves to ride in the car. He will sleep in his own bed quietly all night in your bedroom, without disturbing anyone. He likes to chew on dog toys, but does not bother your things. He is very affectionate, and will initiate affection by rubbing up against you to ask to be petted. Ransom can move into your home and will very quickly seem as if he has always been there. He is beautiful, intelligent, and wants to please. If you want to have all the joy and comfort a four-legged companion can bring, but without having to spend lots of time and effort on training issues, then Ransom is your guy. Come meet Ransom, and find out what a wonderful friend and companion a great German Shepherd can be.

Special Considerations for Adoption:

Ransom is gentle and affectionate and would do well with small children, with proper supervision. He is currently undergoing treatment for Heartworms and will be ready to adopt in mid January.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ransom, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
