Fantine - ADOPTED 12.22.14's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Fantine must have had a horrible life before she came to us.  She gave birth to 5 kittens the night before the shelter was going to spay her.  She was an incredibly protective mom.  She was also in bad shape – filthy, hungry, and stressed.  After successfully raising her lovely babies, she went to live with other cats at TKN.  She does well with other cats and is simply a butterball of cuteness.  She does little dances, rollovers, and begging for treats.  She loves to sit on the laps of our volunteers and would be the most marvelous lovebug in her own home.

Est DOB: 10/28/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fantine - ADOPTED 12.22.14, a Williamston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Williamston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Williamston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamston paves the way for another one to be saved.
