Hi, Luke here. I’m a 4-year-old dude, weighing in at 72 pounds. I was brought in as a stray from the Cheaha Regional Shelter in Anniston and I’m really happy to be here where I have the prospect of a new home. That gypsy life, out wandering the streets, that’s not the life for me. Doctors have removed several cysts from my head since I have been with AGB and have discovered a lump on my side which is believed to be benign. I am also being treated for heart worms. I know that's from being left outside and not getting the medicine I should have had. The bad mosquitoes will get you every time! The other orphans at AGB told me I needed an angel to send the $600 to pay for the medicine I need now. I want nothing more than to settle in and make best friends with you. I’ll be your good buddy, right by your side, whether we’re riding in the car, walking in the park or sitting by the fireside. If you already have some fur friends, that’s okay. Everybody says I get along fine with the other dogs. If you take me to a forever home, I won’t even be looking for Santa’s sleigh come Christmas. I’ll already have everything I want!
