Kingsley's Story...
Kingsley is adorable! Don't let the fact that he's a senior fool you - at about 9 years old he has a lot of pep in his step and just loves to play! He's a cuddle-bug, too - he enjoys being held and snuggling. Some of Kingsley's favorite things include walks, car rides, and playing with other dogs. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and cats and children, as well. Kingsley is house trained and crate trained. He's UTD with his shots, heartworm and lyme negative, and he's neutered. He does like to have lots of nice soft blankets in his crate to snuggle up with. Kingsley will make a totally wonderful family member! He just needs to find his forever family - could that be yourse?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kingsley, a Groton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Groton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
