Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm a handsome red boy named Flare. At least that's what they tell me. Truth is, I can't see very well. The people at the track figured it out when I had trouble making it around the corners in my practice races. My doctor says I have progressive retinal degeneration and I'll lose my vision entirely soon.
I was scared at first, but then a nice lady took me home and said I could live with her forever. She introduced me to all of her dogs, including another blind dog. He told me everything was going to be okay and I was going to love being part of their pack. I spent my first day meeting everyone, exploring the house and yard, and napping on a nice soft dog bed. I think the other blind dog was right. Everything is going to be okay.
