Jeri and his sister, Meri were found scrounging for themselves on rural and unoccupied land. They were both timid and scared so it took a while to coax them out from their hiding space. But, once Jeri decided to trust, his little sister followed his lead, as she always does.
Jeri is always the first of the two to try new things or to greet new people. Once you've earned his trust, he's a very loving and playful boy who adores attention from his human. He will probably always be wary of strangers. Jeri plays well with other dogs once he's had a chance to get to know them. We don't think either would be good with little children because of their timidness and their Terrier tendencies.
Rat Terriers have a lot of energy and many are good at agility & obedience training which also serves as excellent exercise.
Jeri is neutered, vaccinated and on HW preventative. You can speak to his foster parents to learn more by calling 662-342-9448 or emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
