DUNCAN #4 is a 5 year old neutered fox red male Lab who weighs 68 pounds. Duncan is very friendly and has a lot of energy. He is fine with other dogs. Duncan is a big, sweet Lab! Duncan was picked up as a stray running around inside the high school, but no one ever came looking for him. He is approved for kids 10+
Update (01/22): Duncan is doing well in his foster home, he is an easy foster. Duncan likes to be out in the snow, and enjoyed the most recent snow storm! He also enjoys curling up on the chair to sleep!!
Update (01/13): Duncan is such a good boy. Being a 5-6 year old red fox lab, he has a good amount of energy. He likes to spend his time with people and always tries to please them. He gets along well with other dogs.
Update (01/11): Duncan is such a big lover. All he wants is to be with people. He likes to play fetch with the ball and will bring it back to you and give it with a soft mouth or drop it at your feet. He is very excited to sleep in the bedroom on the dog bed ( he would prefer our bed but is not allowed). Since his fosters don't have a fenced yard, his exercise is leash walking which he is very happy to do and is well behaved.
Update (01/08): Duncan has settled into his foster home very nicely. He and his foster brother hang out and enjoy walks together. We are making progress with basic commands and he always comes running to a whistle. We have also met the neighborhood dogs and adults and he has been friendly to all! Let me just say that Duncan is a beautiful, big, love!!!!
Update (01/04): Duncan is such a good boy. He is house trained. Last night he slept in his crate all night without a peep. Today we walked around the neighborhood with his foster brother Lucas. He only pulled when he saw a scampering squirrel. Duncan loves to be with people and will give you the good old lab lean!
Update (01/03)Duncan is a big beautiful red fox lab who came to his foster home today. He rode very well in the car and is now exploring his new surroundings. He seems to like his foster brother but would probably be fine as the only dog. He loves to get pet and will give lab kisses. He walks fairly well on a regular leash but an easy walk harness will be helpful. Foster mom is still learning what commands, if any, he knows .
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
