Cocoa's Story...
Can you say gorgeous?!?!?! My name's Cocoa and I am one breathaking kitty!! I'm on a very special mission to find my furever family! I came to IndyHumane after being left here outside by my owner! I'm really hoping my new family understands just how important I am and is ready to keep me safe and sound for the rest of my life! I'm a super sweet lady with a gorgeous coat and I even don't mind being brushed! I'll be a nice kitty for gentle children and I LOVE getting lots of scratches! I know I'm not a fun little kitten anymore but you know what, we older cats are easy going! We will nap the day away while you are gone and once you get home we will listen to your day and keep you plenty of company while you read or watch t.v! I really hope you consider making me a part of your family soon!! Come and meet me today!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Indianapolis Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
