Cherry Carmel's Story...
Cherry Carmel is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 4-21-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. As of this Month Pooch is still at the shelter in need of rescue

Cherry is around 2 years old, Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg), walks on a leash, sits when I asked, appears to be VERY sweet & loving, happy, full of love & fun, pretty well mannered, playful, very sad at the shelter and is a special dog in need of a family or companion(s) to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Cherry's mouth, pulling on her ears and tail, holding her paws and giving little kisses and hugs. Cherry appeared to past the test with no problems, she is a sweet loving dog, I liked this one a lot. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Cherry to play and be safe in. We feel she make an outstanding loving & super loyal family member as well as companion. If you wish, Cherry can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Cherry Carmel. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cherry Carmel, a Grass Valley American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
