Lucky's Story...
Hello, my name is Lucky and I was born on October 16, 2013. I'm a Hound mix and I'm approximately 50 lbs. I'm sweet and loving, and I also love to play. I am looking for a new forever home, maybe with someone who loves to play 'Catch'! I like to play with with 2 or 3 tennis balls at a time, It's my FAVORITE :) I also love to relax and cuddle while watching television in the evenings. I try very hard to please my humans and have been to obedience training. I am also crate trained and that's where I sleep at night. I like children, but they make me nervous when they run around and yell, so I need a calmer household. I would love to have a canine companion too :) I really enjoy walks with other dogs and lying on the patio in the sun or simply watching the nature through the screen, and I think car rides are the best! I am neutered, I have a microchip and I am current on vaccines and flea and heartworm preventive. I come with 30 days of insurance and a free vet visit too. My adoption donation is $175.00. Please contact petadopt@hotmail.com for an application for me. I can't wait to be your new buddy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Palm Harbor Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
