My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Titan. Titan is a gorgeous American Pit Bull. We pulled Titan from a kill shelter on the day he was to die. He was going to die simply because the shelter was full and as in most kill shelters pit bulls die first. Perfectly healthy, amazing pit bulls die simply because of their breed. We think this is the most ridiculous thing in the world. We love pits. Pits are an amazing breed that is misrepresented by so many. To own a pit, is to love a pit.
Titan’s birthday is estimated at 11/28/13. That makes him 13 months young. We pulled him a couple of months ago so he would have died a baby if they had killed him for space. That would have been a tragedy if they killed such an amazing boy. He is still a big ole baby.

Titan’s foster mommy says he has a wonderful personality and is eager to learn. He is up to challenge you at tug of war and you are guaranteed to lose. He is good with other dogs but prefers not to share his food. He is great with kids. He does good with cats too. He absolutely loves toys and will hide them as most dogs do. He loves to play with Winnie the Pooh (stuffed bear). She believes he would do great indoors because he does extremely well when he is allowed to come inside. His foster mommy has several indoor fosters so Titan doesn’t get to stay in all the time. She says he is a major love bug. He is a quick learner and will go back in his kennel when you tell him it is time. She says he is very smart and is ready to learn whatever you want to teach him.

Titan is a strong boy and walks best on a harness designed to help with pulling. His foster mommy is working with him on this and her young son has been able to walk him with a harness. Titan needs someone who has time to work with him and teach him what he needs to know. It is difficult to give fosters the one on one time they deserve because of taking care of multiple fosters. It is not fair to the foster dogs but is necessary to save so many lives. However, now it is Titan’s turn to find a forever family. A family that will love him and give him all the attention he deserves. Could this family possibly be your family?

Titan weighs 55-60lbs. He is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on preventatives. All he really needs is his own family. How can you say no to that face? We know we couldn’t. ADOPTION FEE $450
