My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is one lucky girl to find herself with our rescue. She was abandoned by her previous owners at a local vet office after an injury to her spinal column left her unable to use her back legs. Under the care of our rescue, she has been getting hyperbaric oxygen therapy at Homestead Animal Hospital and physical therapy with her foster family. Although this little girl scoots around, she is regaining function of her back legs. She has a tiger spirit and frisky attitude and this helps keep her active. She loves to be with her foster family and play with the other dogs in her home. She is about 12 weeks old now and is a tiny girl, less than 10 pounds.

We will continue to treat Lily and will adopt Lily upon the vet's recommendation that she is ready. Follow up treatment will likely e necessary. If you can commit to giving Lily all the love and care she needs to grow old with you, we would love to meet you!

Email adopt@thisisthedog.com and we will send you our application.
