Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Brooks! Brooks was surrendered by his owner to a high kill shelter in Tennessee along with his brother Dunn. Both Brooks and Dunn are available for adoption. Their previous owners were not very good people because both brothers were extremely emaciated. You could count every bone in their body. We think there should have been animal neglect charges brought against former owners but sadly no charges were filed. When we first saw Brooks and Dunn we knew without a doubt we had to save them. They were the sweetest, loving boys despite their past. Their birthday is estimated to be 1/11/14 which makes them almost a year old. They are both very loyal and will be easy to train. They both have put on much needed weight and are now the gorgeous boys we knew they could be.
Brooks is an extremely intelligent boy and very curious as to what is going on around him. He is very alert. He loves people of all ages and is good with other dogs. He has not been around cats but we are guessing he will be fine with them. He likes to play with the rope toys his foster mom gave him and his brother. Mostly he just wants to be with his human at all times. Brooks is very affectionate and loves the camera. He constantly wants to sit and pose when he sees his foster mom pull hers out and show her how handsome he is. He loves to go on hikes with his foster mom and his brother Dunn. He enjoys stopping at the creek to drink water. He does great on a leash but will also stay with you off leash.
Brooks is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on preventatives. All Brooks really needs now is a place to call home. He is a good boy who will love his family unconditionally. If you are looking to adopt, look no further, Brooks is the boy for you. ADOPTION FEE $450
